Anita is a San Diego native and has been cooking professionally for many years starting on a food truck in the early 80's, then owning a little diner in the mountains east of El Cajon CA.  

 

After moving to Columbia MO in 92, she opened her first catering company "Anita's Home Style Catering"

As a regular guest cooking on local NBC television show, Anita was well known for being "the Lady that makes those Famous Rolls" and selling thousands of pans yearly. 

She took a break from catering to be home more often for her children and took a 8-5 job in sales.

Never losing the passion for baking, her new Bakery & Box Lunch business "Anita's Famous Rolls" opened in Mid September right smack dab in the middle of the pandemic.
